THE FIRST IMPRESSION.

The Volvo 9700 is a coach that makes an impression. A modern exterior with characteristic Volvo feel is matched by an elegant interior featuring soft, gentle shapes and well-designed trim. The luggage racks, handles, fittings and ceiling panel are all designed to reinforce the impression of space. The colour theme is superb, where the roof lining, walls, floor, curtains, blinds and seat covers all match one another in subtle shades of blue and grey.

Comfort too is at a very high level. Electronically controlled air suspension with independent front suspension and a rigid frame design make for reassuring ride and road holding. A low interior noise level and comfortable Volvo seats are other important key factors ensuring a comfortable journey. The seats are available in a choice of three comfort levels, with a range of adjustment, upholstery and equipment such as head restraint and footrests. Large tinted windows provide good visibility all round. The climate on board is always pleasant thanks to an efficient ventilation system of extremely high capacity, good air distribution and individually adjustable air vents for each seat.

HIGH-QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT.

With Volvo Sound & Vision, we have set a new standard for AV facilities in the bus industry. Hi-Fi sound and razor-sharp flat-screen monitors make even the longest journeys into an enjoyable experience. The new Volvo 9700 is also available with a new sound selector, VSS-04, which considerably simplifies handling of the control unit for the bus’s infotainment system while at the same time offering extended functionality.
